My work and that of others suggest that many synthetic dyes widely used in foods and medicines can trigger potentially harmful immune system reactions in the body. But unlike commonly used food dyes – one of which was recently banned by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration – methylene blue is not derived from petroleum, also known as crude oil. Instead, it comes from a different family of dyes, which isn’t thought to have these health concerns.

Methylene Blue is a pharmaceutical-grade compound with a range of medical and scientific uses. It is known for its deep blue colour and its ability to interact with biological systems in unique ways. The “USP” label indicates that it meets the quality standards set by the United States Pharmacopeia.

Firstly, Methylene Blue will temporarily stain anything it touches. Do not take directly, it tastes like shit by itself. You can mix MB with water or even a juice (OJ works best to reduce the blue color) and still get the same benefits

Even after opening, the bottle should still be kept in a dark place at room temperature for optimal longevity.
For convenience, a single dosage may be pre-mixed with juice or another drink of choice and stored in the refrigerator for later use. However, refrigeration is not necessary for the bottle itself or for daily consumption.
To ensure potency and safety, Methylene Blue should be consumed within two years of the purchase date.

What does Methylene Blue do to my body?
